This unit was so much fun! I have never taken a class like this one and I cant even explain to you how much I enjoy it. If you did not know already, this unit was on color! Before this unit, I did not even realize how much color affects our fashion. Now I know so many different ways to style outfits or anything really using different colors! The first thing we did was painting the color wheel. Since Ms. Pfister was not there that day, she thought painting our own color wheel would be perfect. I had so much fun mixing all of the colors and painting them on the wheel. It was just like I was in elementary school again! So much fun! That day, we also took notes on different color schemes. It was so interesting to learn all of the different terms and styles of the different schemes. The next thing we did was our color schemes project. In this project we had to use all of the color schemes and create different outfits with them. For this project, I worked with my table mate, Mimi. She did three color schemes and I did four. The colors schemes I chose were the monochromatic scheme, The neutral scheme, the accented neutral scheme, and the triadic color scheme. They were all so fun to put together and I enjoyed this project a lot. This is my accented neutral color scheme! This one was probably my favorite and I loved making it!! To finish off the unit, we did the personal coloring project! In the project, we had to find out what seasonal colors look the best with our features. I got classic autumn because those colors look best with my dark brown hair and light brown eyes. The second part of the project was to make a mood board. We had to put a selfie of ourselves, our palet, and clothes that go with our color palet. It was definently my favorite project of this unit. This is my mood board! I think classic autumn fits me perfectly!
Overall, This was a great unit and I had so much fun.
